Our 4-Step Process for Electronics Recycling

Step 1: Upon arrival

Once your equipment arrives at our facility, it is labeled, weighed, and checked into our system. During processing, each item is scanned into the ViaTeK Tracker. If hard drives require shredding, they are immediately scanned, removed, and placed in a secured lock box.

Step 2: Shredding

Data destruction is performed at the end of each day, when hard drives and other data-containing equipment are removed from the secured lock box and shredded. Destruction certificates are then generated and issued to customers.

Step 3: Demanufacturing

In our demanufacturing area, all equipment is sorted and broken down into different commodities. All hazardous components are separated to be processed while the remainder is sent to our scrap and shredding system.
